A friend shows you her data from the Product vs. pH experiment. She is sure that she graphed her data correctly and has narrrowed down the possible reasons for her graph looking as it does to the following two explanations:
-Her lab instructor gave her the wrong enzyme to test in this pH experiment
-She ran the entire experiment at a temperature that denatured the enzyme (since it was too high).
Please explain why you disagree with both of her explanations.
At pH 2 there is lots of product, at pH 5 very little, at pH 7 lot of product ...if you can't see the graph

the first reason is also wrong. the given enzyme was correct as it gives an idea of how the enzyme is dependent on the right pH.
the second reason is wrong. if the enzyme was denatured, there would be no formation of product at all.
