The concept of Pay for performance will definitely improve health care in U.S. and this is because an improvement in method of serving the patients and hospitalization will definitely pave way for better future. When physicians work with more dedication and devotion and when they are instructed that they will be paid only for most dedicated and performance work,automatically an improvement will be obtained in healthcare.
Pay for performance will increase health care costs because as performance increase,the equipments and medication needed will also increase simultaneously. Treating health care as a business is not a right choice because when healthcare is treated as business,the people will only be money minded and will not concentrate on treating the patients with proper treatment. They will be intended to make money by posing heavy bills on patients instead of posing high level treatment for patients.
