1- this vedio is mainly on flood affects because of the sea level raise in golbal level but it is extreamly related to global warming because the whole raise in the sea level is happening because of the the global warming which is in increase in temprature and causeing the melting of glaciers which is responsible for the raise in sea level.
2- Nyc should be concern about global warming because since in few years the level of sea in the costal areas of NYC is increased and it can cause floods which is harmful. this can harm in several ways this raise can cause floods, it can occupie the sea front in some years and because of change in climate it can cause heavy rainfall in costal areas and which cause floods.so NYC should be concerened about global warming and if the glacier of green land melts totaly 1/3rd of NYC will be submerged in the sea because sea level will increased by 20 to 25 feets.
3- In NYc they should start to retreat from the most exposed water front.
- the communication is important during floods and such disasters so people found that fabric wires are much better than others which are now used.
- tunnels are occupied with big ballons filled with air to save it during floods but the water wich will not enter to the tunnel may cause disasters in streets so there should be a good drainage systems.
-big tanks to store the water during the floods and heavy precipitation.. these tanks can store lots of water which can prevent flood during heavy precipitations. and water incoming before floods.
4- facts
a) Ice is melting much faster than 20th century in 20th century the ice melts and reduced 8 miles where as in the first decade of 21st century the ice melts upto 9 miles which means the temprature is increasing fastly.
b) if the green land ice melts totaly the sea level will increase by 20 feet. which will submerged 1/3rd of new york.
c) if ice in antartica melts the globaly the sea level will increase by 200 feets.
5- only one question raise in my mind that this vedio is one of the best I seen but why shouldnt we are talking about stoping the global warming because we are the one who are responsible for the act.
so we should stop using so much fossil fules from nature which cause increase in temprature and increase in content of carbondioxide.and we should give a start to stop polution for our profit.
