study of the problem-solving process in business. We are asked to make decisions "rationally", but being human, we also respond "rationally" to our self-serving incentives. Obviously, if the incentives are misaligned, the problem-solving process will reach conclusions that may not be in the interest of the business.

the question is how the rational decition making can help the business? and how should we know that the decision that has been made is rational or not?

Explanation / Answer

The concept of rational decision making is a subjective concept according to the situation. if our thinking involves a certain process then it will be called as rational thinking

1. Thinking should be solution oriented not problem oriented.

2 Should collect information and equipped with proper knowledge about that particular situation.

3. Set goals and targets for that particular decisions because anything is going wrong then we can easily indentify the problem then we can resolve it.

4. Should not think about the result.

5. See the multiple possibility and choose one.

6. First test it if it solves the situation then we can impliment otherwise take a new one.

If the thinking is like this then it is called as rational thinking and then it will helpful to the business as well.
