Scalabre talks about the rise of another manufacturing revolution that can affect our life. He is saying that our economy is on a decline and that we need to do something in the terms of manufacture in order to be get the ball rolling again. Due to the economic decline, there have been social problems in the world. He is saying that if we keep our manufacturing system and with technological advancements we will have prosperity. It will boost everything that we need: employment productivity, and growth. Scalabre looks at the robots that will be made to work with us are the saviors for us globally. They will be able to get us out of the decline that we have been going for the past 50 years and actually make us see the lime light.
I do not agree with what Scalabre is saying. While technology is a great thing for humanity, we should not rely on it to make us become better. He is states that we will soon have AI that will work alongside us and make our production much better. This also will account for the boost in growth we will have. However, if the AI is so superior we should just resort to have them running our manufacturing business. This would mean that there will be a decline in employment. From a business standpoint, and technological, have a manufacturing plant based with efficient machines who only know how to produce mass gross of products is the best thing. If we want to boost employment we should use robots but not rely on them as much as we should on other, real, people.
Explanation / Answer
This paragraph highlights the use of technology for economic growth and properity.Here as per Scalabre the economy is going on the down side and as per him there needs to a manufacturing revolution to bring back everything into right position and situation. He says that due to economic slow down there have been many social problems in the world and to combat that using technology robots should be made to work which will act as saviors and bring the situation under control.
But the author of this article / paragraph does not agree with this view of robots. He/She says that ofcourse technology is a perfect thing to be used but its help should be taken where necessary. As use of robots means that employment will come down and again it will create imbalance in economy. Relying totally on robots is not a good solution for long term as people are to be relied upon more.
I totally agree with the author as brains of people can never be compared with a robot. After all robots are also a creation of human mind only. This will further worsen the situation. So help of technology should be taken where it will reduce the pain of people in working but it cannot totally replace people.
