Thank you so much guys!

Two small metallic spheres, each of mass m = 0.192 g, are suspended as pendulums by light strings of length L as shown in the figure below. The spheres are given the same electric charge of 6.8 nC, and they come to equilibrium when each string is at an angle of theta = 4.65 degree with the vertical. How long are the strings? A charged cork ball of mass 0.90 g is suspended on a light string in the presence of a uniform electric field as shown in the figure below. When E rightarrow = (4.80 + 4.20 ) times 105 N/C, the ball is in equilibrium at theta = 37.0 degree . A small sphere of charge q1 = 0.728 mu C hangs from the end of a spring as in Figure a. When another small sphere of charge q2 = -0.618 mu C is held beneath the first sphere as in Figure b, the spring stretches by d = 3.36 cm from its original length and reaches a new equilibrium position with a separation between the charges of r = 4.90 cm. What is the force constant of the spring?

Explanation / Answer

1. Length : L =1.0125 m (approx) or 1.012424 to be precise.

2. Charge : Q = 2.352 x 10-8 C. and Tension : T = 20.005 x 10-3 N

3. Spring Constant : k = 0.052 x 10-6 N/m.
