Please help! And please show steps so I know how to solve it in the future! Thank you :)

The masses and coordinates of tour particles are indicated In the following table. (a) What is the rotational inertia of this collection about the x axis? g.cm2 (b) What is the rotational inertia of this collection about the y axis? g.cm^2 (c) What Is the rotational Inertia of this collection about the z axis? g .cm^2 (d) Suppose the answers to (a) and (b) are A and B, respectively. Then what Is the answer to (C) In terms of A and B?

Explanation / Answer

Ix = m1*y1^2 + m2*y2^2 +m3*y3^2 + m4*y4^2

Ix = (3*1*1)+(2*1*1)+(2*0*0)+(4*5*5) = 105 g cm^2

Iy = m1*x1^2 + m2*x2^2 +m3*x3^2 + m4*x4^2

Iy = (3*3*3)+(2*3*3)+(2*0*0)+(4*5*5) = 145 g cm^2

c) Iz = m1*(x1^2+y1^2) + m2*(x2^2 + y2^2) + m3*(x3^2+y362) + m4*(x4^2 + y4^2) = Iy + Ix = 250 g cm^2

d) A + B
