Mastering Physics -- Coulomb's Law

This problem is actually in the Chegg Textbook Solutions, but every time I input the numbers I'm given I get the wrong answer.. I think im making an order of operations error. Please make sure it is the right answer because I am on my last attempt.

This is what the Textbook Solution gives:

Problem 19.27 Part A Suppose the charge q2 in the figure(Figure 1) can be moved left or right along the line connecting the charges q1 and q3. Given that q +12 d find the distance from M1 where q2 experiences a net electrostatic force of zero. fixed distance of 38 cm) Express your answer using two significant figures. The charges h and 3 are separated by a z= 15 cm Submit My Answers Give Up Incorrect, One attempt remaining; Try Again Provide Feedback Continue Figure 1 +3.0

Explanation / Answer

q1 = +q = 12uC
q2 = -2q = -24uC
q3 = +3q =36uC

Let the distance from q1 = x
Distance from q3 = 38 -x

Force due to q1 on q2 = k * q1*q2 / x^2

Force due to q3 on q2 = k * q2*q3 / (38-x)^2

For net Electrostatic force to be zero , the above two forces should be equal -
Therefore ,
  k * q1*q2 / x^2 =  k * q2*q3 / (38-x)^2
q/x^2 = 3q/(38-x)^2
(38-x)^2 = 3x^2
Solving for x -
x = 13.91 cm
Distance from q1 where Net Force on q2 is Zero is x = 13.91 cm
