Physics question about forces. I'm confused what I'm doing wrong. The forces look like they're in the correct places, and I even tried 3 times, making the tension, T, greatest, then Fe, then mg, etc. T> Fe > mg, for the magnitude order, correct?
Problem 21.69 Part A Draw a diagram showing the forces on the left sphere. Treat the spheres as point charges. Two small spheres with mass m = 15.7 g are hung by silk threads of length L 1.30 m from a common point Draw the force vectors with their tails at the left sphere. The orientation of your vectors will be graded. The exact length of your vectors will not be graded but the relative length of one to the other will be graded. Figure 1). When the spheres are given equal charges, (Figure 1).When t each thread hangs at an ang so that q12q, each thread hangs at an angle 26.0° from the vertical. add elementv vector sum Xdelete element i attributes Ureset ? help Figure 1 of 1 LIL mass nn charge qi mass m charge q2 Submit My Answers Give Up mass m mass m charge qj charge q2 Incorrect; Try Again; 3 attempts remainingExplanation / Answer
T> Fe > mg is correct. Also your force diagram looks correct if you give magnitude correctly.
Only possibility of it giving wrong answer can be the labelling may be wrong.
May be they want mg to be written Fg or something but except that everything looks correct
