The question ask about An infinite plane has a uniform surface charge = 9 pC/m2.

A) Write the electric flux in terms of the charge Qenc enclosed by a closed surface passing through the sheet and fundamental constants.

B)) Calculate the magnitude of the electric field a height h = 443 m over the infinitely charged plane in V/m.

Also this Question says

Two parallel conducting plates are placed very close to each other. The first plate has a surface charge density of 1 = 2.75 C/m2.

A) Plate two has 1 trillion free electrons, what is its area in square meters?

B)What magnitude of force, in newtons, would a single electron experience in the region between the plates?

Explanation / Answer

From Gauss's law the electric flux is = Q_enclosed/epsilon not

electric flux through a closed surface area = 1/epsilon not times the charge enclosed by the closed surface area.

B) electric field E = sigma /2 epsilon not

       = (9*10^-12) / (2*8.854*10^-12) N/C
       = 0.5082448610797 N/C

A) The first plate has a surface charge density of 1 = 2.75 C/m2.

   we know that sigma = Q/A ==> A = Q/sigma

       given that Q = 1*10^12 *1.6*10^-19 C

   so area is A = 1*10^12 *1.6*10^-19 /2.75 m2 = 5.8181*10^-8 m2

B)

       F = E*q

       = (sigma/ epsilon not)(q)

       = (2.75/(8.854*10^-12))(1.6*10^-19) N

       = 4.97*10^-8 N
