Research and write a recommendation report that compares two or more things. Address a topic or issue of your major field of study.
Im a freshmen at college working on my mechanical engineering degree. At first i want to compare what type of wind turbine is the best, but that pretty much solved. I then wanted to campare types of train breaks, but that is solved too. I just need an idea of what i can write about thhat invloves mech engineering, any help would be great, thanks.

1.if you are intrested in automobile you can compare petrol and diesel engine and cycle used in them.
2.you can compare different governer used in automobile and for speed controle due to change in load.
3.you can compare types of powerplant used for energy generation ex.thermal powerplant,hydropowrplant,nuclear power plant etc and irs efficiency and environmental effects.
4.aloso compare diffrent types of gears that arein use in mechanical machines withs their use and advantages.
5.compare parallel ,counter and cross heat exchanger and their advantages and effectiveness.
6.compare types of steel used in diffrent equipment eg.high speed steel,highcarbon steel,stainless steel,based on their compound and properties.
