Question
Pergunta 11 2 pts Regarding the "new deposit" discovery illustrated in the previous question, and other recent and related observations of activity on and near the surface of Mars, what does it suggest about the prospects for life on Mars today? Life on Mars today may lie beneath the Martian surface. Mars lacks all of the basic ingredients for life. OIf there is life on Mars, it probably depends on frozen carbon dioxide (dry ice). OIf there is life on Mars, it probably depends on liquid carbon dioxide. Prospects for life on Mars today are better than they were in the distant past.Explanation / Answer
If there is life on Mars, it probably depends on liquid carbon dioxide. We can’t comment on the prospects of life on mars from distant past as we ourselves didn’t have the technology to study such alien environments and ways of structure of life there as the life on earth being determined by carbon as the basic element.
