Protection and preservation of the forests is a cause many environmentalists put a lot of time and energy into. The loss of forest has been linked to major environmental issues such as global warming and extinction of various species of plants, insects and animals.
Assignment Details: You are the supervisor of a national forest and must create a management approach to address the logging issues. Ten percent of your forest is old-growth primary forest and the remaining 90% is secondary forest. Timber companies are requesting to cut as many trees as you will let them, and environmentalists want no logging at all. Your forest managers are split between two management approaches. It is your job to find a resolution that works for everyone.
Using the library and Internet, research and thoroughly discuss maximum sustainable yield, ecosystem-based management, and adaptive management.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of each management approach?
If we completely allow them, Deforestation occurs eventually it leads to global warming.(One management)
If we are not allow them, Deforestation does not occur and it gives us healthy environment.

I cannot allow them take at all.

I cannot allow them take at all. But it is very necessary just i allow some but not old growth trees.

Yes, I will allow logging of secondary forest; these are re-grown forest after a major disturbance. I can encourage which replaces the good kind of forest trees like orange trees, banana trees etc.
