I need some help. I have a final power point presentation due and i need to know if I am on the right track as to if I am giving my teacher what she wants. If I have not narrowed it down that far can i get some help.
so my broad topic is Immunology and Cell Biology.
Her response was: Can you target in a bit more here? What is the biotech application involved? What disease or diseases
My response was: I was looking to do more on the immunology side. Understanding protein to protein interactions and events that occur in the cell and how diseases can adversely affect this. With most of my research being in Proteomics.
Does this sound like what she is look for if not can I get some help please. I do want to do my slides on something like this so all the help i can get is greatly apprecited

with your question i can understand ur from genetics background. and as your teacher asked the biotechnology applications of immunology and cell biology, i think she is looking more of things like western blotting, SDS-PAGE, radio immuno assay things like that. and if you think what happens in these techniques its again protien protien interactions. and if you want to include further more of biotechnology applications you can include edible vaccines , and hybridoma cell preperations for the production of monoclonal antibodies. would be best biotech applications.
coming to cell biology there is no other biotech application than preperation of single celled proteins, and rDNA technology, where you use competant cell and you can also make slide about genetic engg.
