7 Steps Effective Strategic Planning Process:-
Health care organisation have more of a social motive than to earn profit, while the main objective of an industry is to earn maximum profits. While planning for either of the two, the objective should be clearly kept in mind.
key factors involved in SHEEPED:-
socioeconomic factors- Socioeconomic refers to society related economicfactors. These factors relate to and influence one another. The socioeconomic factors that determine health include: employment, education, and income.
health care resources:- Two main avenues are advocated to improve the capability of healthcare systems to satisfy the public's needs and expectations: more resources and better organization.
epidemiological factors:- Epidemiology is the study of the distribution and determinants of health-related states or eventsin specified populations, and the application of this study to the control of health problems.
Various economic factors need to be taken into account when determining the current and expected future value of a business or investment portfolio. For a business, key economic factors include labor costs, interest rates, government policy, taxes and management.
The political factors affecting business are often given a lot of importance. Several aspects of government policy can affect business.
Environmental factors that affects health
Demographic factors:- Socioeconomic characteristics of a population expressed statistically, such as age, sex, education level, income level, marital status, occupation, religion, birth rate, death rate, average size of a family, average age at marriage. A census is a collection of the demographic factors associated with every member of a population.
