Question
I know I should be able to figure this out... but I've neverbeen good with percentages. My homework average is 96.8 I got a 72 on Exam 1 and a 72 on Exam 2. so here's the breakdown: homework is 15%, exam 1 is 20%, exam 2 is 25% and thefinal is 40%. So what do I have right now, and what do I need on the finalto get a 90% overall? Thanks! I know I should be able to figure this out... but I've neverbeen good with percentages. Homework 96.8 x 0.15 = 14.52 exam1 72 x .20 = 14.4 exam2 72 x .25 = 18 14.52 + 14.4 + 18 = 46.92 you want 90 points out of 100 so 90 - 46.92 ( what you currentlyhave) = 43.08 you need 43.08 points from the final this isnt possible even if you get 100 on the final 100 x 0.4 = 40points and you need 43.08 points for a 90%. I hope there is extra credit
