(8+7+7,5+8,5+8+8+8,5+7,5+8+7+8,5+9+8+9+8,5)/10 = 121/10 =8.0666666... but (8+7+7,5+8,5+8)/5 + (8+8,5+7,5+8+7)/5 + (8,5+9+8+9+8,5)/5 =(7.8+7.8+8.6)=8.2 why are these two ways of calculating gives diffrentanswers? and what is the average (average) this 15 numbers. is thefirst  way is right to calculate? Neither of them are calculated correctly. The sum of the numbers is as follows: (8+7+7.5+8.5+8+8+8.5+7.5+8+7+8.5+9+8+9+8.5) = 121 There are 15 numbers therefore the average is 121/15 -8.06666666... If you split it up into groups of three then it is as you haveit: (8+7+7.5+8.5+8)/5 + (8+8.5+7.5+8+7)/5 + (8.5+9+8+9+8.5)/5 But you have to take average of these "three" terms that are nowcreated. So we get: (7.8+7.8+8.6)/3 = 8.06666666666 So it's the same average if you consider all terms and average eachtime you go.
