Well, if i did this correctly, try this: If diameter is 9, then the radius is half of 9 which is4.5 So the Surface Area of a circle is pi x r^2, so 3.14 x4.5^2 That gives us 445.095 inches squared. (Which is huge for acake thing) So if the one batch of icing is 50 square inches, we divide445.095 by 50 getting: 8.9019 batches of icing So depending on your teacher's prefrences, that is 9 batcheswith no decimals, or the 8.9019 batches.
