Question

Answer question 1 and 2.

DATA SHEET #3 E. DIRECT MEASUREMENT OF CURRENTS. ASSUME AN UNCERTAINTY OF 1.0% FOR THE 200 milliamp SETTING: MA (units?) FOR THE 2 milliamp SETTING 3,5 x1 (units?) FOR THE 200 milliamp SETTING: (units?) FOR THE 2 milliamp SETTING 12 ±412 = -15 FOR THE 200 milliamp SETTING 13 ± 13 = (units?) (units?) FOR THE 2 milliamp SETTING: 13 ± 13- QUESTIONS: (units?) 1. Were the initial assumptions (on page 5.6) for+ directions of current in the pictured circuit EMF completely correct? VESNO Show the final correct directions on the schematics circuit drawing to the right: 2. For Part E's data above, did the two different meter settings for the current measurements make any difference in the measured currents? OYESNo why? Or why not?

Explanation / Answer

Q1

The direction of current chosen are absolutely correct .Also we can choose any direction of unknown current but we should use KCL properly. Here direction chosen is correct. As we got all current values as positive so direction are correct .

Q2

Yes ,as sensivity of two current measuring instrument are different so they will measure slightly different values of current but not with a large difference.Idealy current should be same but as sensitivity of instruments are different ,they will measure slightly different values
