1971 Ad- In the 1971 Coke ad, a close-up shot of all the faces of a group of people from different colors and ethnicities are shown. The group sings the Coke song from the hilltop in Manziana, Italy. The message is that Coke is for all the people across the globe irrespective of their origin and ethnicity. The phrase ‘Let’s have a Coke’ is inviting anyone to refresh with Coke. Thus, the drink was portrayed as a universally liked formula which could keep them company for a few minutes.

“We all have different looks and loves, likes and dislikes, too— But there’s a Coke for we and us, and there’s a Coke for you.”
