Artificial intelligence is defined as the technology capable of performing the tasks as aptly as the humans do. Most of the Americans believe, it is expected to lead to job losses for them, however, they don't see it coming to them. Despite acknowledging the threat, most of them love to embrace it in their daily lives. According to a study conducted by Northeastern University and Gallup, over 84% Americans use navigation apps in their daily lives, while over 72% use live streaming on their devices. Nearly half of them installed personal assistant on their smartphones while 32% used ride share apps.
The users belong to the segments of more educated and young citizens, over 90% of them having a graduate degree. Over 3500 respondents were involved in the study.
Despite the threat to employment, most of them believe that it is not going to affect their jobs. Over 75% indicated that the A.I. is going to affect the work and life of the people fundamentally in the coming decade.
