Strengths: As we know, India is the seventh largest country in the world in terms of area as well as the second largest in terms of population. This means it has a large surface area to set up any business, factories, farms, industries and so on. Along with this, the area available is also cheap and affordable. It can serve as a boon for a new businessman with a low funding in the beginning.

Not, only this, the large population available can also serve as a great human resource as well as a large no. of cheap labor and workers can also be found.

Weaknesses: In India, since it is still a developing country only, Inadequate and poor quality infrastructure is present, it will take a lot of time to make the country completely digital and self-reliant.

Along with this, cost and time delays are very common problems seen in industries.

There is strong political power active n the country as well as for any new thing, everyone has to undergo through a lot of paperwork and government procedures which make the system and the entire work more tiresome and lengthy process.

Opportunities: People in India have realized their potential well and there is continuous growth in Competition of Indian industry due to change in focus on efficiency and quality.
It is also absorbed that there is a vast export marked to be explored which is a great opportunity for foreign traders and businessmen.

There is an open growing recognition of “Made in India” brand in the global market which has resulted in multiple opportunities.

Threats: It is well known that India and China are neighbors and the relationships are not so good, they always have a competition. India faces a heavy competition in manufacturing field from China.

There are cases where social issues like child labor are included in the business. Most of the sectors are informal and the wages are low.
