My impressions of faith development in relation to an individual's other developmental processes is that they do tie together in a way. Fowler defines how faith is "a universal quality of human meaning making," so agreeing with that there is a connection between faith development and an individual's development makes sense. Depending what area the adolescent is putting their trust in will reflect on their individual development. A child or teenager could focus on family, money, power ect., or does not even have to be religion to effect their up bringing but depending on what they put their trust into could affect in a negative or positive way. Also, the upbringing of religion being the center of faith for a child has a lot to do with the parents when the child is in its stage of intuitive- projection, where representations of God is exposed to the child from the parents or caregivers. Skipping a stage or two, when the child reaches the synthetic-conventional stage you are now able to take part of the child's thinking of faith. With my experience in faith, growing up religion was apart of who I was since I could remember. When we were children, in the middle of the service all the kids would go to a seperate room'to read stories that were simplified for us to understand and sort of grasp the concept of God. Having my faith focusing on religion made me loyal to Him being a child and making me realize now that nothing bad could come stemming from that.Explanation / Answer
I am agree with this person.when a child is going through various stage of development ,he also develops various kind faith also.so development of faith and individual development have interlinked.for example,we influence in faith of materialistic to adolescent .Then He will prepared himself to earned more money and development great attached with matrialistic word.but if we projected the concept of holy religion then obviously he will imbibe himself more morality, cooperation, sympathy to others and think beyond the matrialistic life.
Parents and environment play lead role to upbringings the child.for examole, In India a baby who is born in muslim family is shifted to Hindu family due certain kind of circicircumst.it has been observed that the child are totally practice Hindu religious norms and culture through various stage of development. A person is inculcate religious faith with various stage of development but not God directly projected all religious beliefs among him in one stage of development.religious faith developed as like child is getting socialize stage by stage. It is fact that child is imbibe religious thought through various books and stroies and simplify the concept of God and religion at middle stage.I think that..the role of religious is indespensible to lead balanced and harmony life.it makes child more loyal and inculcate good values and eliminate bad peactice.He will able to realize the existence of his life and find out a holy purpose in life through enlightment of religion.so parents and environment play key role to development faith of religion with development of individual.
