What i have to do is "considering the following 5 manifestations of organizational culture: symbols, artifacts, rites, rituals, and legends. Briefly define each of these manifestations. Then, give an example of each of these at @@@ University (GA). You can either focus on the university as a whole or identify examples of each of these 5 culture manifestations in a university-affiliated organization of which you are a member".

Artefacts are elements that contain some reference or symbolism for a culture. They may be endowed with physical properties. They could also be everyday usage objects such as flowers at a reception. The purpose of artefacts is to serve as a reminder or a trigger when people belonging to that group view these objects, they must get a sense of belongingness culminating out of the familiarity wards that object. This makes it a manifestation of a culture.
Symbols are things which act as triggers to remind people of their cultural values, belief systems, etc. just as artefacts. Rituals are processes or sets of actions which are repeated in specific circumstances and with specific meaning. They have a huge cultural significance to play and are close to the cultural belief systems of people. They also end up having people’s cultural sentiments attached to these practices. They may be used in such as rites of passage, such as when someone is promoted or retires.
Similarly myths contain certain narratives that have religious or cultural sentiments attached to them due to the huge significance of that culture that they contain. Legends here are the ones who create idealism in these myths and act as an inspiration for generations to come. Moreover, this reiterates the idea of virtues that this cultural system wants to continue to perpetuate in future.
