a) A syringe is prepared using plastic or glass, more preferably plastic. It should be sterlizable and non toxic, so that it does not cause additional infections in the body. The needles are made of stainless steel or carbon stell which are nickel plated in order to avoid corrosion.
b) Schedule 2 drugs are available with pharmacists. A pharmacist is required for advising and prescribing these drugs. They are usually used for treatment of diarrohea, allergies etc. Distilled water, gelatin, plasticizers are used to make the capsule. Gelatin and plasticizers give strength and water is used for solubilizing.They are basically two capsules placed together for extra strength. The drug is placed inside the capsule in form of pellets or powder for easy dissolution with stomach contents as soon as the capsule shell breaks.
