MISCOMMUNICATION AT MY PREVIOUS WORKPLACE
I had been working and initiated the sponsorship team of my organisation for corporate event. It has been almost nine months and I along with my reporting head who was Sales Director fo sponsorhips and delegates were working very harmoniusly and in absolute synchronisation and smoothly together putting our full efforts to secure 100 precent sponsorships or our events like I would do all the initial groundwork and he woud just have to look at doing final talking to close th deal.
By this time some few very young joinees fresh from college joined my orgnaisation for delegate sales and as they saw me soleley heading sponosrship division and cracking deal they tried to get friendly and ask me questions etc because its more prestigious as it invloves high ticket.
It so happened they said lets go for lunch and I felt new joinees fresh want my guidance and mentoring and understanding their way ahead settling in the organisation growth etc so I went along with them. They sked me cerain questions regrding salary ,orgnaisation ,my experience ,how long etc ,people ,growth and whats my future plans etc . I thought they are young etc and tried to give them some good advise sugestions that take experience learn here grow expand and then switch aall general etc .
and after that week i felt ill and when i resumed office backafter a week there was some trouble and issue that had piled up . My boss called me for a meeting and asked what i spoke to them .i said general stuff and talks now these smart ,shrewd ,cunning new joinees went and told him that I am demotivating them to stay in the organisation and spread loose an negative talks ie there is nothing in this organisation learn and expand and shift etc lot of manipulating bitching and misleading back stabbing behind me which completely strained my relationship with my immediate boss and everything came down falling apart ie they asked me to resign , They wanted to take my place soon or felt that she is strong candidate lets remove her .
I was extremely taken aback and told my boss I dont know what has behind my back , what has been communicated to you ,and why i am a victim of office politics as such thing has not taken place in the last nine months every thing was swift and i was excellingday by day with my super boss also giving me more responsibility and trusting me .
Now my immediate boss had to abide by office protocols etc and even though we shared a relationship on personal level professionally a lot had been spoilt by these two three cunning joiness.So theer was a lot of tention and stress as just coming to work after a week of long illnesss and getting to hear today is your last day please leave i was like what why when where how as this went till my super head boss who was very fond of me since my mentor was trained by him . So i was exactly following the same pattern of working and methodology which they had fowed and were form same organsation previously .
So me my immediate boss and super boss sitting in a cabin and getting to hear this from them was like a googly .As previous month we had gone for an event togete=her and he had structured some growth plans and position for me ahead to expand international too and head of sponsorships , train and guide new joinees etc.
The consequences were very negative for me and whatevr miscommunication had been done was so soild strong manipulated that it led to some form of void vaccum and like no this is end of it.
The lessons i learnt from this experience is keep to yourself in the orgnaisation especially dont need to speak to others or trust others easily or open up .
I was under the impression of team work and colaborative environment .ie sponsors come because ofdelegates and delegates will come if sponsors are great tooo

demonsttrate respect for new workers and not oerseeing their work
