Explanation / Answer

For proofreading, I utilize the digital approach. I utilize the spell checker that is embedded in the functionality of the word processing document which allows me to be able to utilize quick actions and steps to go through the initial phase of proofreading the document. Next, I utilize software that specializes in the correction of grammar and grammatical errors that are present in the document which the spell checker cannot help with. It is necessary that we utilize a spellchecker in order to be sure that most of our data is already free from errors which will allow us to focus on the task at hand. Then when the document is scanned for errors and the mistakes are corrected, I utilize a narration tool. Which allows me to read the document as well as listen to it, in order to be able to have both layers of error checking at the same time to save on precious time that would otherwise be lost. When the document has been verified, I then let the document be checked by another person. No technology is necessary for this part as the perspective of the neutral third party will allow us to view our work in another light essentially allowing us to both get rid of it and grow at the same time. While I do not have the time to do the same for every projector work I do sometimes check the errors in my work on the go, using mobile applications such as Grammarly.
