Rogue switch or rogue device?
In computer networking, the terms rogue device and rogue switch are synonyms and convey the same meaning. So here on, if the term rogue device is used then assume that it is being referred to rogue switch.
What does a rogue device do?
They are unlawful and illegal instruments that get attached to a network association moreover exploit network possessions of the institution. These pieces of equipment bond by means of wired connection or else it can be un-wired with radio waves.
What is rogue access point?
Rogue access points are also known as soft access points.
When a device becomes rogue access point?
The source of threat/risk can be from two forms:
1. Access Point(also known as rogue access points)

2. Computer based(also known as rogue peers)
