Hope you understand this.
I have answered Q1.
1) What is the difference between a manged and an unmanned switch?
Managed switches come with configured interfaces while unmanaged switches do not.Managed switches interfaces can be modified and control the switch operation.
Managed switches have configuration interface and unmanaged switches do not.WithManaged switches the interface can be modified and manage the switch operation.Unmanagedswitches are plug and play because it does not have modifiable interface.
An unmanaged switch useful when there is no traffic to control.Managed switches canbe costly so if the budget does not allow unmanaged switch would be the choice.
