(1) Your department's budget should always include a minimum of $1,000 to spend on training employees. You will, of course, need to explain why training is essential and consider the nature of your business and the technical and/or managerial skills your employees need.

(2) Your department's current structure is too decentralized and you are proposing a new, more centralized, hierarchical structure. Of course, you will need to include why this is a better structure. Consider the size of your organization, its mission, etc. and consider whether you could argue that changes in the organization warrant the modified structure.

(3) Arguing that every employee in your company should be required to take at least one vacation day each quarter and be precluded from checking email or calling in for messages on that day. In essence, all employees should be required to have one paid "retreat" day each quarter. You may consider citing evidence from EI 2.0 or other managerial studies to demonstrate that this time off is extremely important - and explain how it will connect to better productivity.

1. The tools and technologies keep evolving and it is important for the employers to keep the employees trained so that they can work on the projects without any delay. The employees gain confidence when they are through with a specific tool or technology. So the company has to keep a minimum of 1000 dollars so that they can train a few in the team based on the business requirement.

2. Having a centralized system in business is very important because the flow of communication should be well balanced and it should be very effective while dealing with the clients. The business should be always customer centric and make sure that the entire process is supporting the same. To achieve this level of excellence a perfect hierarchy is required.

3. Employees work hard to reach their goals and give importance to their productivity by sacrificing their personal time sometimes. So it becomes the responsibility of the company to take good care of the employees. Having a break of one day per quarter will definitely bring a smile on the face of the employee and also encourage them to do better for the company. Employees build the company so take good care of the employees if you want to build a good company keeping the future in mind.
