A loyal and dedicated secretary who has worked for fifteen years in organizations is one of the key assets of the organization. She knows all the process and the key activities of the roles. However, the car accident has turned her into a less efficient into the key task of her job role. Taking a decision, in this case, is critical as it involves different personal and professional aspects. The organizational goals are always a top priority in any situation and hence need to find a solution which can provide a win-win situation for both the parties.

It is very easy in the second case to fire the secretary or just lay her with some compensation. In these cases, we should consider the right model approach which primarily a fight for access to the privileges people would otherwise have had if they were not disabled.

If we consider continuing the secretary, it is clear that it will affect the efficiency of work and delay in the process.
