Explanation / Answer
As per the research country, I research about China. China is a low context country which can be described as a polychronic country. As China has a strict culture and availability of rules and regulations regarding implementation of search specific rules in their day to day activities including maintenance of the strong time approach which helps them to maintain better quality standard in operation. People strongly believe in their culture as well as show tendency to build the relationship slowly dependent on trust. Communication cannot be done without strong verbal cues which is the fine example of high context culture of china. Chinese people are very well known to do multitasking as well as having ability to create great structures by using large workforce simultaneously has also been a great example of following a polychronic cultural structure.
Moving from a low context country like America to a high context country life China would be relative layout of task. This type of approach would require proper understanding of cultural beliefs as well as understanding of the work style of Chinese people to comply with the standards of the specific culture. Maintaining better efficiency and productivity would require proper approach to create an environment of learning as well as working in a specific culture. Adoption of working conditions as well as mixing with the specific culture would definitely take more time as moving from a low context culture would directly create problem for me to work in the specific environment and for is your option of the culture.
Definitely I would not able to communicate in my language at a large scale in China as Chinese culture is very selective towards their language and prefer their own language over any specific language in the world even if they know how to speak the specific language.
Country uses chinese language as their main operational language and this is also the official language for all the official work involved in Chinese structure.
How do you do? Is called as 'Ni hao ma?' and Thank you for your business is said as 'Ganxie nin de yewu' in Chinese language.
Chinese language is a complex to learn which would definitely create a huge barrier in understanding the local culture and would required to learn Chinese thoroughly before entering China for work.
