Some of the things learned about the guest speaker are as follows,
1. Attention Creator -
The speaker was clearly communicating his views through stories. He is very well prepared and is aware of what he is coveying to the audience. As the narrative style was in short stories it was easy for audience to understand the message.
2. Invisible Women -
The speaker's careful selection of the phrase Invisible women was very catchy and had a deeper meaning. The topic refers not to the physical self but to the qualities of women in general. Some key quality traits explained were adaptiveness, forgiveness, care and helping mentality.
Some of the leadership qualities possessed by the guest speaker are as follows,
1. Responsibility -
The speaker was highly responsible in his communication and he made sure that necessary information is being correctly understood by the audience. He took additional steps during his speech to increase the interactiveness of the session. Though different examples were uses to convey the message, the final conclusion always ended in the main topic.
2. Persuasiveness -
The speaker was able to create a very high credibility for himself among the audience. He managed to gain confidence among the audience by proving his expertise in subject matter. A rythm was created by the speaker and audiences were aligned to it and their responses were in perfect harmony. The speaker inflicted a long-term impact on the audience and they started following few activities immediately after the session.
Some of the ways through which the speaker influenced me are as follows,
1. Simple Language -
Speaker used very simple Language for communication and it was easily understood by the masses. The vocal sound was being properly used wherever it was needed. The tempo of voice was apt.
2. Eye Contact -
Speaker managed to make proper eye contact with all the persons available in the session. This motivated even the introvert personalities to speak.
3. Interactive Mode -
Speaker used appropriate gestures and body movements to communicate information properly to audience. He made purposeful stops during his speech to make people speak out.
