5.Advantages of contactor relationship are that it provides an expertise work for each task,establishes a personal relationship with the company and the chief engineer of the hotel.Disadvantage of this approach is that it is not suitable for large industries where a lot of task are to be done.
Advantage of a competitive bidding approach is that is gives a cost benifit to the hotel by providing services in a very low cost.Disadvantage is that it is not suitable for small scale industries.
Deciding between these two approaches depens upon the nature and size of the hotel.If my hotel is large I would suggest my chief engineer fit competitive bidding approach because it provides a cost benifit to the organization
