Students from a technical background, underestimate the people's skills that are needed to be successful. Earlier there were no classes to deal with the people's skills, let alone classes that would deal with the technical aspects of project management such as planning and scheduling. Things and times are changed for the better, but technical folks still assume that technical skills are all that is necessary. Present the categories of skills that should be considered in the selection of a project manager. Does this set of skills support the type of project manager you would select for your Semester Project case study? Explain. Do you possess and practice these skills?

Categories of skills that should be considered in the selection of a project manager are as follows-
I try to practice all these skills while doing any project work. I try to manage my time well by breaking the task into smaller tasks and make a schedule to complete the entire project within time. I try to work as a team and maintain a complete transparency into the project so that the ideas between the team members are free flowing and innovative ideas are generated. I communicate well with my team members so that everybody understands the demand of the project and work towards its completion. I listen to every team member’s idea and try to incorporate all the good points in the final plan to complete the task.
