Explanation / Answer
weathering activity differs between climates. the various agents of mechanical weathering are snow, wind , water as rain, as a flow and anything which are in motion and carries energy with it. these innovles attrition. chemical weathering involves the intrinsic reaction within a rock leading to the weakening of the internal forces to hold the particles and thus those are disintegrated. the agents controlling this chemical weathering are the remperature, the reacting components. the micro-organis andpressure to a little extent. since in diffrent climates the occurance of the factors are in varing quantity and quality so weathering activity differs.
temperature is the major agent controlling the weathering activities. since it contols the other factors as well like the rain and the snow and also the occurance of the micro- organisms this is the factor controlling the erosion at large.
