M1V1 = M2V2

M1 = 8.0 M , V1 = ?

M2 = 1.60 M , V2 = 50.0 mL

V1 = (M2V2 / M1)

V1 = (1.60 x 50.0 / 8.0)

V1 = 10.0 mL

we need 10.0 mL stock solution and 50.0- 10 = 4.0 mL water.

V1 = (M2V2 / M1)
