Can anyone tell me what a reasonable mutation rate would be in EMS treated E.coli?I need a reasonable rate for a 10^-5 and 10^-6 dilutions of EMS treated E.coli.

Im not sure how you would calculate this exactly, but I know that in order to calculate mutation rates you have to determine the mutations frequency in the population. Since you are using EMS which causes AT -> GC and GC -> AT transversion mutations; the calculation for mutation rates is something like this...
