I need to find the structure using the IR and the NMR spectrum. I found the formula to be C7H14O & the degrees of freedom is 1. So, i need a structure with this formula that correlates with the IR ans NMR.

Notice the NMR shows a septet and doublet, consistent with an isopropyl group. One isopropyl group contains thre carbon and seven hydrogen atoms. Two isopropyl groups account for all of the atoms in the molecule except the oxygen and one carbon. The IR is difficult to see, but seems to have a sharp intense peak in the carbonyl region. That would indicate that this molecule is probably 1,1,4,4-tetramethylpropanone.
