Question
In a diels-alder reaction.there are exo and endo isomers. Only four product peaks are seen in the C-NMR analysis. That is supposed to indicate that there are NOT speparate endo and exo isomers present.
My question is why the NMR for this product not show separate exo and endo stereo isomers.

Endo and Exo isomers contain the same bonds.Only the orientation in space is different.C-NMR just shows the bonds.
Hence these cannot be differentiated and the peaks overlap.
