The patient is suffering from multiple sclerosis. In this the immune system attacks the protective sheath (myelin) that covers nerve fibers and causes the above mentioned symptoms in the quesion. Early MS symptoms include weakness, tingling, numbness, and blurred vision. Other signs are muscle stiffness, thinking problems, and urinary problems. Treatment can relieve MS symptoms and delay disease progression.
