Please HELP! This is due tonight and Iv'e been trying to figure it out earlier this week. I am doing the Beer's law and Colorimeter exercises 1 and 2. The lab involves diluting a blue dye to determine the concentration of a sample when its quantity is absorbed. Once mixing blue dye and water, we are suppose to use a digital multimeter and colorimeter to calculate the consentration of the sample. I am lost and have no idea what to do after the experiment. Any help is greatly appreciated!

It states to use the following equation to calculate the initial concentration of the standard blue dye.
Step 17. fill each of the 12 test tubes with the standard blue dye and distilled water, as described in Data Table 1.
Step 18. use the M1V1=M2V2 equation and example in step 10 to calculate the final concentration of blue dye in each of the test tubes. Record the final concentrations for each test tube in Data Table 1.
(step 10 was just adding 10 drops of blue dye to 50.0 mL of water)

Total volume given 5 ml
So,
M1 = 0.026 M
M2 = ?
V1 = 4.5 ml
V2 = 5 ml
we get,
M2 = 0.026 x 4.5/5 = 0.234 M
