Question

In Fig. 25-29, a potential difference of V = 80.0 V is applied across a capacitor arrangement with capacitances C1 = 10.6 ?F, C2 = 5.74 ?F, and C3 = 3.29 ?F. If capacitor 3 undergoes electrical breakdown so that it becomes equivalent to conducting wire, what is the increase in
(a) the charge (in C) on capacitor 1 and
(b) the potential difference across capacitor 1?

I can't upload the image but I got B right. Only problem with A is that its asking me to the the charge on cap1 which i dont know how to do. I found the net charge to be 219.1 in nan C but its somehow not right..HELP!

Explanation / Answer

to solve this a figure is must...please upload figure thanks!!
