Hey everyone, here is my question along with my attempted solution(excuse the mess). The answer I got was very close to one of the multiple choices but was slightly different which usually means I did something wrong some place. You can only set factors equal to the other side if the other side is zero. That's called Zero Factor Property. You need to put everything on one side and solve it as a quadratic.
