Explanation / Answer

Q 3. Ans:

One-way ANOVA: Happiness versus Meditation

Source DF SS MS F P
Meditation 3 70.6 23.5 1.75 0.198
Error 16 215.6 13.5
Total 19 286.2

S = 3.671 R-Sq = 24.67% R-Sq(adj) = 10.54%

Conclusion: The estimated p-value is 0.198 and larger than 0.05 level of significance. Hence, we can not reject the null hypothesis and conclude that the happiness is not significantly different from the no meditation and three different levels of meditation at 0.05 level of significance.
