If the one company does not have features of the competitor’s then it should not worry. If it copying the same feature then it will be considered laggard and perception of people will be changed for company. Customers like innovative companies not those which copy others. First the company should analyze that what are the shortcomings of that feature and then should provide improved feature. Every feature has its own cons and it should be identified. For an example Amazon deals in many countries. There are many local companies that have many products with them but not able to deliver it on the remote or rural areas. Here Amazon wins. Amazon has fewer products available in other countries like India but it is delivering its product to the rural and remote areas which the other companies are not able to do. Hence having the same feature is not necessary. It may also possible that feature is harming the company as it is annoying the customers. If you are offering the same feature then you may also get affected.
