Explanation / Answer

What are some reasons you should never speak poorly of others when you are in these situations?

The reasons for which we must not speak poorly of others when you are in these situations are as listed here under:

If you are unhappy with your boss, your job, or your company, what are somethings you can say that would not negatively reflect on you or the company?

In these situations if we are not happy about the job or the company we are working for, we must not say this directly as bad of the company. We may say that the job role which is offered does not suite our capabilities or expectations and that you would be interested in finding a better alternative.

About your superiors. If you are not happy with their behavior, you should thing about and analyze the specific problem areas that may be concerning you and speak about only the specific problem areas that you are facing difficulty in handling.

One should also not encourage speaking negatively about your company, but if some aspects are bothering you then try to zero down to the expectations that you have or the desirable behavior the company should do to smoothen your feeling and express about the changes that you would want to have in resolving the issues you feel for the betterment of all the employees in your organization.

If friends or colleagues spoke negatively about a coworker or executive at your company, how would you react?

If a friend speaks negatively about a coworker or the company, help them to specifically identify the actual root causes of their feeling negatively and identify the actual issues that must be fueling such negative outlook in them.

Also, never comment on such negative talks with consensus, even if you are somewhat feeling the same, as this may affect your reputation and trust factor in view of others.
