Part 1:
My organization belongs to the FMCG industry and it strongly contributes to the community development with reference to the corporate social responsibility. The first initiative is the vocational skill development program in the nearby areas and societies and train them on certain technical skills. Further, the organization gives preferences to these people when suitable employment opportunities come out. As a result, many individuals from the nearby areas are employed. Hence, the organization is contributing in helping people to raise the livelihood and purchasing power. The second initiative is offering packaged pasteurized milk on a no cost no profit basis. It is the service only offered to the area where the manufacturing setup is located. People get the essential commodity as milk on a fair price that does not include profit. The third initiative is to drive awareness program among people using the volunteers to spread the importance of education, hygiene, and clean water. The organization also invites children and youth on industry visits to spread the significance of education and career building.
Part 2:
Though, these initiatives are very good, but it can be improved. The following recommendations are suggested to improve the CSR work.
Above recommendations will help to improve upon what the organization is already delivering to the community.
