Let us assume it is a three period moving average method. I.e the last three periods are taken into consideration for forecasting
There forecast for 2018 is (42+46+56)/3
= 48
B.) weighted moving average with weights 6,3,1 for the last three periods respectively.
Forecast for 2018 is ((6*56)+(3*46)+(1*42))/10
= 51.6
Here the weights are assigned starting from the last period to then before periods
