Question

Stress has many direct and indirect consequences resulting in potential declines. Identify two such effects. Select one of these effects and describe in as much detail as you can how you would investigate empirically using correlational or experimental research techniques. Stress has many direct and indirect consequences resulting in potential declines. Identify two such effects. Select one of these effects and describe in as much detail as you can how you would investigate empirically using correlational or experimental research techniques.

Explanation / Answer

Effect of stress

There are numerous physical and emotional disorder that have been linked to stress including depression , anxiety , heart attack , stock , hypertension , immune system defective that incresed suspectiblity of infection.

The major two effect of stress is cardiovascular problem and low academic performance of adolocent.

When people are in stress , increasing highly the heart rate and stronlgly contraction of heart muscles .Repeated episode of acute stress can cause inflammation in the coronary arteries , thought lead to heart attack.

The effect of stress massively impact on adolocent academic performance . When they are getting stress they are unable to think critically , and memories the concept . So their poor performance lead to the low academic background .there are several causes of stress among adolocent like poor family background , maladjustment behaviour , low socio-economic status, etc.

step -2

Generally experimental research technique is used to understand for empirically investigation .

Introduction: stress is a universal phenomena , affect the productivity of individual .it is widely observed that medical students are majorly suffered various stress and anxiety which leads not much satisfactory of their academic performance. The present generally identified major causes of stress among medical students and provide some coping mechanism for recovery.

method of study:

experimental study is conducted to understand for empirically study.there is two on is controlled group where are included non -medical students another is experimental group where treatment are given on medical stustudent . 50 non medical sample and 50 medical sample are selected on the basis simple random sampling method. The result were compared with various variable like attendence , demographic factor , average marks .various statistical technique is used to analysis the data.

Result and findings

it has observed that medical students have more stress due more task like regular attendence, project work , practical work etc as compared non nedical students .so stress among medical students should be acknowledge and attempt should be made to alleviate it.
